Do Not Forsake Me, Oh, My Electorate

Do Not Forsake Me, Oh, My Electorate

Well, it's election season in America (the only season I know of that lasts almost two years). What would America be like had Al Gore been elected president way back when? Like Bush it would have been, at the very least, dynastical. In 1970, the popular and wonderful cowboy crooner Tex Ritter (and father of John) threw his ten gallon hat into the political ring and attempted to run on the Republican ticket for Senator of Tennessee. His Democratic opponent, had Tex won the Republican nomination, would have been one Al Gore Senior. Here he is on The Dick Cavett Show discussing that and some other things.
